We love you more than you can possibly know; it’s why we push you. Let other people be lazy if they choose. You choose to be better. Look around. Clean the house. Reorganize. Take your dog for a walk. Surprise your parents. Handwrite a letter. Create something beautiful. Wash the windows. Vacuum the rug. Learn to cook. Bounce on the trampoline. Go or a run. Volunteer, study, and after that, read a book. Nobody owes you entertainment. Your parents do NOT owe you fun. The world does NOT owe you a living. It was here first. You owe the world something; you owe it your time, energy and talent. Do NOT live in a dream world. A backbone is more valuable than a wishbone. Do not become a chronic complainer. You are NOT a victim. Your teachers, your family, and your real friends are TOTALLY on your team. Anyone who works against you is wasting their energy because God made you AWESOME. YOU ARE IMPORTANT AND YOU ARE NEEDED. You cannot sit around and wait for somebody to make something happen someday. You must make it happen. Someday is today and that somebody is you.
Dream with your eyes open. You have more opportunities that your parents and grandparents ever dreamed of. And it goes by too fast for you to not grab hold and take a “LIFE RIDE.” We’ll be watching. We can’t wait to see what you do.
