Book Review

I continue to be humbled by the great reviews of “Messengers in Denim”. This one from Jana Bennett on Amazon:

This book offers a pediatrician’s perspective on teenagers – particularly that teens themselves have a pretty good idea about what is productive and fruitful in their lives and what isn’t. Via stories from teens and his own expertise, Dr. Donahue discusses several topics, including the importance of parents, questions about drug use, helpful considerations about sex and teenagers, and emotions, among other things. This is a very comprehensive book, and as the parent of two children who are not yet teenagers, I find this to be useful as I look ahead to those years. There are lots of great tips on how to parent during what most people find to be some of the most challenging times for parenting.

Thank you Jana, I appreciate your remarks.
