If you have missed me, it’s not because I wasn’t thinking about you all! I have been right here in Tennessee since my last post, but I have been having my website and blog re-done and re-named. You can still find my website at: www.messengersindenim.com or my blog at: www.messengersindenim.org, they will rollover to my new site: https://parentingwithdrpar.com/ or blog www.parentingwithdrpar.org.
I felt the new name would better reflect the subject of the blog and it’s reason for being: Discussion of the thrills and disappointments of parenting, with an occasional bit of parenting advice. It took some time to get it going. In the meantime, I lost the comments to my posts and my responses (This is the first time I had a lot of comments, and they are now all gone.) So Please if you commented and did not get a response please try again!
The new name also makes room for my new book! “Tools for Effective Parenting” will be released later this summer!! It should be in book stores, on Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. It will be available other places too; I will let you know where as soon as I find out!
In the meantime I wish to thank Wendy from the great blog, Searching for Happiness: http://searchingforthehappiness.wordpress.com. She made the suggestions that caused me to make the changes in my blog’s name. Thanks you Wendy. If you haven’t visited her blog, please do.I think most everyone who reads it loves it. Let me know if I am right or wrong.
Are you or someone you know thinking of hosting, a post-prom party? If you are, please visit this blog later tomorrow. I will post some interesting rules of order, written by a high school senior and his girlfriend in an attempt to get his folks to host a post-prom party. It worked! And everyone,including his parents, had a great time. Look for it tomorrow afternoon.
