Groundhog day!

Man in prayer

So my advice to myself three years ago was to change my prayers. I had grown tired of the same old prayers and though God must be tired of them, too. I decided to look for a new person – stranger or friend every day to pray for that evening. It made me start to look at other in a different way. How did I see Christ in them? How were they doing, or not doing, the will of God? Or at least what I thought was the will of God.

Wow, it made me think more about what I was saying; made it easier to concentrate, made me feel like I really was a son of God and a brother to Christ.

  1. A note to readers, today I decided to re-read this message and saw that a short, very important paragraph somehow did not make it from the writing page to the published page. Don’t ask me why?
Without it the last paragraph is hard to understand. Please have a look at the corrected post. Sorry, Par

  2. There are three ways to quit while taking chantix. You will discuss them with the doctor who prescribes it. During the discussion you will name a “quit date”, usually one week or one month from beginning the medication. During that time you can continue to smoke while increasing the dose of chantix. You can also choose an “indefinite date” and continue to smoke while taking the med The most common symptom when doing both is nausea.
Please contact your doctor and ask him to discuss these methods, then take the prescription the way he suggest. Congratulation on deciding to quit. Let me know how it goes, and thanks for your great question.
