Last week I told you a bit about the Southern Festival of Books. I hope to see some of you there! Now, I want to tell you about Parents Plaooza 2012!
“Parents Palooza is two fun-filled family days for Parents and their kids. Learn the latest Parenting Tools & Tips in our Parenting Conference Area and Explore the Expo to find the Products, Services, Resources, and Information they Need and Want for their families. Meet the companies that want to work for you! The wealth of help for parents is surrounded by entertainment of every kind for your kids (and Moms & Dads). Come out for 2 Days of Fun and Family!” *
I have the fortune of making two presentations, and conducting a book signing on Saturday afternoon. I’ll let you know the times as soon as they are available.
My first presentation is titled “What in the World is Peer-pressure” and will be a discussion on the role of peer-pressure in a child’s life, and how to use it to help your kids become the best adults they can be!
The second presentation “Why is Parenting so Difficult, and What Can You Do About It?” This will be an interactive discussion with the audience to identify the root causes of difficult parenting. With the hope of coming up with some ideas to make things easier for both parents and kids. I will be using some of the examples given in my up-coming book on this topic.
Finally, in the book signing session, I will read some from Messengers in Denim and sign books for those interested in purchasing.
All in all, it looks like it will be a lot of fun and should also help parents in the struggle to be great parents!
Parents Palooza 2012 will be held in Cobb County Galleria, 2 Galleria Parkway, in Roswell, Georgia, just North of Atlanta. Show hours are 11:AM to 5:PM Saturday, November 10, and Noon to 4:PM on Sunday, November 11. If you live in or near Atlanta plan to come spend some time with us and other parents. And, if you have friends or relatives who live near Atlanta forward this post to them so they can be part of the fun!
