If you visit us this Christmas season you’ll notice that we have not taken the time to decorate our home. You won’t be dazzled by a beautiful Christmas tree and the only Nativity sets you’ll see are the ones I haven’t taken down from last year. Even the front yard is bare of the traditional Crib set. Time has out run us, again.
I was feeling a bit down about not decorating until Mary reminded me that decorations are intended to remind of us Christ’s birth, His life and most importantly His teachings. And if we listen to His voice we will know we need to see Him in each other. WOW! So true.
So this year we will endeavor to see Him is all of you! And hope to live so that you can see Him in us, as hard as that may be. Without all the distractions of the “secular” scene, we may find that easier to do.
Have a blessed merry Christmas; give your family and friends an extra hug, and let’s all try to show Christ’s Spirit in all we do. May God continue to bless us!
